Are you available on my wedding date?
Our calendar is always limited to one wedding per day, (this ensures absolute perfection and seamless execution). Submit a request for a consultation through our contact page and we will check our calendar and pending consultation requests and inquiries. We will reach back out to you via email and/or text message as soon as possible.
How many weddings will you schedule or design on the same day?
Have you designed wedding flowers at my ceremony and reception location(s) before? If not, are you familiar with the sites?
Chances are that in the decades of wedding flower design and planning we have created looks for your site(s). And if by chance we haven't our research is diligent and arrangements are made for us to visit the location(s) to see what will perfectly achieve the look of your vision.
Are you available to do a walk-through of my wedding venue before the wedding? If so, do you charge a fee for this?
Indeed. Most times a walk-through is unnecessary yet we are always open to this. Your booking for wedding flowers or a wedding design includes at least one walk-through if we feel it is warranted.
Who will be designing my wedding flowers?
All of your wedding flower designs will be created by our staff of designers. There are instances when we will defer to a creative on our staff to design certain pieces based on their talent and ability to translate the vision we have worked on together. Your wedding flowers, each specific piece and area, will be designed by the creative that best produces the desired result.
How far in advance of the wedding will you create the bridal bouquets, ceremony flowers, and wedding centerpieces? How do you store them?
The work put into your wedding flowers begins days before your dream day with the reception of your flowers yet the design and production is held off until the day before. Most designs are created the day of your wedding depending on your timeline. Your wedding flowers are stored according to the selection's needs as it relates to temperature, they are placed within our spacious cooler or left at room temperature (to better get them to their peak performance).
What recommendations can you give me to maximize my budget?
These are offered through the consultation process ensuring that you get "the biggest bang for your buck." Nothing satisfies us more than seeing wedding flowers re-purposed where appropriate.
Do you offer specific packages for wedding flowers or is everything customized?
We are not a "package florist."
How long have you been designing weddng flowers?
We are third-generation florists and have been creating wedding flowers for well over twenty years.
How many wedding have you designed?
The short answer is countless. We would say it has to be well over 300 weddings all with varied designs and themes.
Do you have a portfolio of weddings you've recently done that I may review?
As each wedding season ends we reach out to the professional wedding photographers involved seeking a portfolio from each wedding. We are constantly updating our online albums, and portfolios within our design space.
How would descibe your design style?
We don't believe we have a specific style of design like other florists do. The final look of design when it comes to your wedding flowers is the result of our numerous consultations and the uncovering of your tastes and aesthetic you feel most comfortble with. Our abilites certainly include the traditional look or modern flair to the rustic or organic.
Based on my wedding style and budget, what set of floral arrangements would I need?
The rendering of a proposal for your wedding flowers will be based on a full examination through an in-depth wedding consultation.
Which flowers would you recommend based on the time of year or season? Color palette? Budget?
Our recommendations are offered through the wedding consultation process.
Do you substitute flowers?
Although the clause is included in your contract it has been years since we've had to do this. The world's flower markets are immense and the availability of specific fresh flowers is always a phone call away for us. If there are specific flowers you wish to have included for your wedding we will find them for you yet some fresh cuts are indeed seasonal.
If I give you a picture of a bouquet and/or centerpiece that I like, can you recreate it?
What types of vases/vessels do you suggest? And do I rent them from you or do I get to keep them?
Your low-profile designs include the vessel your wedding flowers are designed in and your props or vases for your taller-profile designs are typically rented from us. Unless of course you wish for your guests to take them home with them at the conclusion of your wedding.
What other decor elements can you provide (aisle carpet, candelabres, trees, chuppah, votives, mirrors, etc)? Are these rental items?
We have access to any decor elements that will be needed to create the perfect look for your wedding. And more often than not these are all rental items unless you wish to make an investment in them.
Can you create sample arrangements before I sign a contract? If so, is there an additional fee for this? Or is a sample consultation included?
Yes. There is a fee for any sample arrangements created before your contract is signed and deposit received to retain your wedding date. (And they are yours to take with you and enjoy!)
Will you work with my wedding cake designer if I decide to add flowers to my wedding cake?
Of course! Fresh flowers on your wedding cake always look fabulous as a finishing touch.
What color lighting would you recommend based on flowers and color scheme?
We are huge fans of lighting within your wedding reception space when it is warranted and fits the overall design of a wedding installation.
Can you assist me in the preservation of my bouquet after the wedding? If not, can you recommend someone?
This is a service we do not offer and regretfully we do not work with a specific company that provides this service. We would highly recommend that you secure this service well before your dream day so that proper arrangements may be made for the company to retrieve your bridal bouquet at the conclusion of your wedding.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
Yes. It takes a team to execute your dream flawlessly!
Is there an extra charge for the setup and striking of the floral decor?
Yes. Your delivery, setup, and strike fee will be based on your subtotal and the level of work it takes to achieve perfection as well as the number of team members involved.
How long will you need to set up?
The amount of time needed to execute a set up is based on the level of work involved and the location's allowances when it comes to accessing the space. Of course, you needn't worry about this detail.
What time do you arrive to deliver personal flowers? The ceremony flowers? The reception flowers?
Our arrival times for each part of your wedding day will be based on your timeline, and your photographers timeline spent with you.
Is there an extra fee to have you stay throughout the ceremony to move floral arrangements to the reception site?
No. This level of service is included for each wedding we design and execute.
Are there any additional fees that have not already been taken into account?
Every fee is clearly disclosed during the consultation process and spelled out in your contract. We've heard the horror stories from brides who speak of those "last minute fees," and we think it's horrible when a client is treated in this manner.
How far in advance should I book your services?
The ideal time to book your wedding flowers with us is a six months to a year before your wedding day.
How much of a deposit is required and when is it due?
Your initial deposit to retain our services and to be added to our calendar is one-third down. Your wedding is added to our calendar and your wedding date is secured once a deposit and signed contract are received.
When is my final payment due?
All final payments are due at the time of our final detailing appointment usually two to three weeks before your wedding.
How long before my wedding do we meet for a final consultation?
The ideal time is three to four weeks before your wedding.
Will you provide me with an itemized floral proposal of all the elements we've discussed, along with prices?
Yes. Each proposal includes a description of your dream based on our initial consultation including fresh flower varieties related to your tastes. Each line is itemized for you along with quantities based on the information you provide us.
What is your refund policy if for some reason I need to cancel my contract?
As your deposit and signed contract secure your wedding date, and ensure that you will be our sole client for the wedding date you have chosen, all deposits and monies received will be forfeited if you cancel your wedding contract with us.
When can I expect to receive my contract from you?
Our turnaround time for creating a contract tailored to your needs as it relates to wedding flowers is usually within three business days. (The pricing within your contract and the validity of the contract does come with an expiration date, typically two weeks.)
